In order to address the changing internment needs of our community: on 12 September 2026 at 10 AM, the Trustees of the “Historic” Green Cemetery ™ take great pride in announcing the inaugural operation of the FIRST[1] COLUMBARIUM to be installed in the facility which is located at 500 Tanyard Road in Deptford Township, N.J.

The Green Cemetery (Trust), envisioned by its founder Dr. Lewis Green (local entrepreneur) in 1887 as a Victorian “rustic country garden”, is 8.5-acre non-denominational cemetery serving the great Deptford community.
